Expert in condensed matter physics, with emphasis on surfaces and interfaces, physical metallurgy, and biomaterials. My research lines evolve the development of novel metallic biomaterials, in special low-cost titanium alloys and high entropy alloys, and the surface modification of metals and alloys using plasma-based and electrochemical methods.
