Resumo

The BBST Conference aims at furthering the goals of a science based global deployment of innovative bioenergy solutions, through enhanced international cooperation in R&D. It is expected that this Conference will take place every two years and will serve as a major venue for presentation and discussion of advances in international and Brazilian bioenergy research. The Conference is designed to bring together specialists and beginners, through a mix of tutorials, plenary and invited presentations, posters, and special topics sessions. Companies and entrepreneurs in the field are welcomed to contribute and expose their endevours.Experts in any of the five major themes of the Conference (Biomass, Biofuel Technologies, Alcoholchemistry and Biorefineries, Conversion technologies, Sustainability) are encouraged to attend and present the latest results of their research. Researchers and young researchers from all countries involved in or interested in participating in a worldwide effort to develop clean and efficient bioenergies are welcomed to participate. The Conference will also offer companies and entrepreneurs the opportunity to network, learn about new developments and potential innovations, explore financing alternatives, and establish R&D collaborations with Universities and Research Centers.
