Agricultural Engineer, Master of Sciences in Animal Science. Currently working on a Ph.D. project in Agricultural Biological Engineering with an expected finishing date in Fall 2025, with the possibility of an anticipated finishing date in Summer 2025. Member of the "Illinois Digital Animal System Lab -I-DIGITAL" since 2022 and member of the "Well-Being, Ambience, and Precision Livestock Farming -GBAZP" between 2017 and 2021. Has been developing research projects on precision management of animals for 7 years, investigating non-invasive technologies for the management and monitoring of livestock. Current research areas are precision management of animals, environmental sustainability, animal welfare, and automation, with a focus on image processing and computer vision techniques for continuous automatic acquisition and analysis of electronic data from individual animals to monitor their behavior, health, growth, development, feed intake, and welfare status.
