Camille Nunes Leite

Graduated in Industrial Chemistry at the Federal University of Uberlândia UFU (2016) and a Master?s in Science at the University of São Paulo USP (2022), with an emphasis on Soils and Plant Nutrition. She has worked professionally in the private sector with R&D (2015 2018), with an emphasis on the development and validation of chemical solutions for the fertilizer sector (patents resulting from this period: 1 granted and 3 deposited). The current research area resides in the Recovery and Recycling of nutrients through the reuse of agricultural by-products (vegetable and animal biomass) and sanitary (sewage effluent and sludge) for agronomic application. She has experience with mineral and organic fertilizers, instrumentation and analytical techniques (HPLC, UV-Vis Spec., Atomic Abs., PSD, SSA, PZC, etc.), product formulation (emulsions, suspensions and dissolutions), pyrolysis and biomass modification (production and chemical enrichment of Biochar), aerobic composting, characterization and performance of adsorbents, and environmental analysis (chemical and physical) of effluents and sludge.
