Namur Matos Rocha

Namur Matos Rocha (São Paulo, 1974), is PhD student in Aesthetics, Sciences and Technologies of the Arts, University Paris 8. Since 2013 develops the thesis "Music through Architecture: The Transference of Xenakis. The Transdiciplinairity between Music and Architecture from the point of view of Acoustics.? Under the supervision of Makis Solomos (Paris 8) and co-supervision of Markus Noisternig (IRCAM), he is a fellow of the Sciences without Boundaries program (CNPq). Master in Music, São Paulo State University (2008), he developed the research "Aesthetic and Structural Relationships between Music and Architecture: Polytopes. An analysis of the multimedia work of Iannix Xenakis". Under the supervision of the composer Flo Menezes, he was a fellow of the São Paulo State Foundation of Research Support (FAPESP).
