Desiree Tamara Scheidt

I am a chemist with academic training focused on analytical chemistry, electrochemistry, and materials science. I hold a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Chemistry from the Western Paraná State University (UNIOESTE), where I worked on the development of polymeric materials for pharmaceutical applications. I obtained my PhD in Chemistry from the Institute of Chemistry of São Carlos (IQSCUSP), with a concentration in Analytical and Inorganic Chemistry. During this period, I focused on developing sustainable electrochemical sensors by directly converting natural polymeric substrates into laser-induced graphene (LIG) using a CO#8322; laser scribing technique. Currently, I am a postdoctoral researcher at IQSCUSP, working on the development of electrochemical sensors for environmental monitoring. I have experience with sensor miniaturization strategies, electrochemical techniques, and advanced surface characterization techniques.
