Resumo

The main goal of this article is to present a didactic platform for thyristor-based circuits. The proposed platform has the advantage of being more flexible than existing academic and commercial teaching platforms. Using a basic thyristor element board, it is possible to mount different topologies, such as solid-state relays, thyristor bridge rectifiers, among others. The development steps are presented in detail. Application examples such as a switched capacitor bank are presented together with experimental results in order to demonstrate the functionality of the platform and its didactic applications. (AU)
