| Resumo | |
Anacroneuria Klapalek, 1909 is the genus with the greatest known species richness within Plecoptera (DeWalt et al., 2025) with some of the oldest species in the order. Many of the type specimens of these older species were sent to European institutions, and over time some of these almost 200 years old specimens were lost or destroyed (Froehlich, 2010). Still, many are still preserved and labeled as they were originally. In this note, we appraise the status of the type series of Anacroneuria species found in the Museum of Natural History of Berlin (Museum f & uuml;r Naturkunde des Humboldt-Universit & auml;t zu Berlin, Germany) based on photographs of all available specimens, with comments on their taxonomic relevance and further preservation.
