Resumo

We report, by our knowledge, the first study of the Linear-Modulated Optically Stimulated Luminescence in amazonite, a microcline-type K-feldspar (KAlSi3O8). LM-OSL measurements were carried out using a Ris & oslash; DA-20 system under various conditions, including variations in dose, storage time, preheating, and optical bleaching. The dose response was linear from 0.1 to 5 Gy, and fading followed a power-law decay, remaining approximately 75 % of the initial signal after 2h of fading. The Localized Transition Model (LTM) with two components successfully described LM-OSL under dose variation, fading, and IR-bleaching. However, the model did not provide an adequate fit to the experimental results observed after blue-bleaching and thermal treatments, suggesting the presence of additional recombination mechanisms and highlighting the limitations of the model.
