Resumo

1st International Conference on Environmental Bioinorganic and Toxicology Research - CEBiTOR 2012 December 6-8, 2012Federal University of São Paulo- UNIFESP Institute for Environmental, Chemical and Pharmaceutical Sciences (ICAFQ)Rua São Nicolau, 210. Diadema-SP. BrazilThis interdisciplinary meeting will congregate bioinorganic, analytical and environmental chemists, geochemists, toxicologists, neuroscientists, pharmacologists and other specialists, devoted to the study of the flows of chemical species of essential and toxic elements and other substances through the environment and living systems. Of particular interest are the molecular mechanisms that govern chemical acquisition and use in organisms as well as the toxicological effects of these species, including neurodegenerative disorders. In this first edition, the use of the zebrafish model on environmental bioinorganic and toxicology research and in didactic activities will be highlighted. the works will be divided in three topic: Environmental bioinorganic chemistry and environmental health, Zebrafish as teaching tool and Metals in biomedicine and pharmacology.The deadline for registration is the 15th of November 2012, at the same include coffee breaks and conference material (abstract book). The works accepted will be informed until ten days after the data of sent. Please note that the number of participants is limited (about 70). Presentations by participants are welcome (oral and poster).
