The expertise of Saara-Maarit Reijn M.Sc. is in the field of optics, with specialisation in computational and adaptive optics. In the beginning of 2013 commenced working as a research assistant, concerning the realization of obtaining the scattering matrix of an opaque media at Centro de Lasers e Aplicações (CLA) / Instituto de Pesquisas Energéticas e Nucleares (IPEN) in São Paulo (SP) Brasil. Besides this main task, Saara-Maarit collaborates with other researchers by performing numerical calculations to aid in explaining the research results obtained in the laboratory. In 2011, Saara-Maarit commenced working at PANalytical as product specialist X-ray fluorescence involving the development of novel software applications and marketing of industrial solutions. During her Master (graduation date: 2011), Saara-Maarit investigated the potential of spatial averaging on evaluating Green functions for optical fields in stratified media.
