Degree in Pharmacy from the University of Seville, Spain (2011). She holds a Ph.D. in Medical Sciences from the Faculty of Medicine of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (2013-2017). Currently, she is developing her post-doctorate at the Heart Institute of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Sao Paulo. Her background is focused on the mechanisms associated with endothelial dysfunction in cardiovascular diseases. She has experience in the role of insulin and adenosine receptors in the placental endothelium in preeclampsia. Nowadays, she evaluates the platelet aggregation in response to dual antiplatelet therapy (DAPT) in different presentations of patients with coronary artery disease. She is guest professor in the Master in Physiology and Neuroscience at the University of Seville and reviewer of Biochimica et Biophysica Acta - Molecular Basis of Disease Journal.
