Currently, I am a PhD candidate (FAPESP fellow) at the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (FEEC-UNICAMP), affiliated with the Department of Semiconductors, Instruments, and Photonics (DSIF), and a Collaborating Researcher at the Brazilian Synchrotron Light Laboratory (LNLS-CNPEM). My doctoral research focuses on the study and development of lithium-sulfur (Li-S) batteries at Technology Readiness Level (TRL) 6, employing advanced in situ characterization techniques using synchrotron light. At LNLS, I work within the Division of Heterogeneous and Hierarchical Matter, specifically at the Paineira beamline, where I am responsible for conducting and commissioning in situ experiments and setting up energy storage systems. Between 2024 and 2025, I undertook a research exchange at the SLAC-Stanford Battery Center (Stanford University, USA), focusing on applied studies of Li-S batteries using in situ TXM-XANES, X-ray diffraction (XRD), and EXAFS spectroscopy.
