William Gabriel Carreras Oropesa

Theoretical and Computational Physicist with a PhD from the University of São Paulo (Brazil), working on soft matter, statistical physics, and non-equilibrium systems. I completed my Bachelor's and Master's degrees at Instituto Balseiro (Argentina), researching magnetic alloys in condensed matter physics. I later joined ICTP-SAIFR, where I held a two-year Technical Training position and currently work as a Postdoctoral Researcher. My research focuses on phase behavior, active matter, and adaptive networks.Specialized in high-performance scientific computing, with expertise in CUDA-based GPU simulations, parallel algorithms, and numerical modeling of complex systems.
