Resumo

Low power nonlinear behavior is needed for photonic neural networks. The incorporation of 2D transition metal dichalcogenides crystals, in particular, films with single 1T'-MoTe2 layer onto integrated photonics structure is modeled and demonstrated for achieving ultra-low absorption saturation power in silicon nitride based structures.
