Resumo
The TIDIA-Ae Project has ambitious targets in researching and developing solutions in the area of Distance Learning supported by high-speed networks by means of specification, design and implementation of a comprehensive flexible set of solutions for electronic learning. The LISI group is proposing to develop advanced tools exploiting Information Retrieval techniques to provide searching, linking and classification to support actualization, sharing, reuse and storage of courses, lectures and contents. These tools should improve interaction and collaboration of mechanisms, content and activities. In terms of manipulation, storage and distribution of educational information, we intend to collaborate with the research and development of a learning content management. Researches supporting the development of tools and a learning activity based on the creation of a virtual physic laboratory are also proposed.
