Resumo

O projeto propõe-se a adquirir um magnetômetro de amostra vibrante que utiliza como sensor um dispositivo supercondutor de interferência quântica acoplado (SQUID-VSM) com circuito fechado de criogenia. Este equipamento tem uma sensibilidade de 10-g EMU, sendo, portanto adequado para medidas de amostras com sinais magnéticos sutis. A intensidade da propriedade magnética é, no caso dos projetos associados a este pedido, produto das dimensões das amostras visto que os pesquisadores trabalham com materiais nanoestruturados. É importante frisar que não existe um equipamento para caracterização magnética com esta sensibilidade no Estado de São Paulo. Além disso. o custo dos experimentos será uma pequena fração do custo dos medidas que podem ser realizadas hoje em dia, devido a aquisição do sistema de circuito fechado de hélio. (AU)
