Resumo

In response to the need articulated by Canadian universities, colleges and polytechnics and the 4 Brazilian state research foundations FAPESP, FACEPE, FAPESB and FAPERJ, CBIE proposes to organize a partnership event to bring together researchers from Canadian and Brazilian HEIs. While other key stakeholders in international education and research organizations will also be invited to attend, the event will focus on creating and building upon partnerships between researchers Approximately 20 Brazilian and 40 Canadian participants are expected to attend the event. This partnership event will focus on certain priority sectors identified by the governments of Canada and Brazil. These include: life sciences;ocean science and technology; green energy and clean technology;ICTs; and nanotechnology. (AU)
