Resumo

In tills project we will address the question of LC1 localization in mast cell (MC) using an ultra structural approach, combining histological techniques with electron microscopic analysis. In particular we will use not only isolated MC but, more importantly, tissues rich in MC in the absence or presence of inflammation. In tile latter samples we will try to correlated the extent of MC inflammatory response (mainly neutrophil influx) to levels and localization of LC1 in the MC present around me post-capillary venules. We will detect LC1 localization in intravascular and extravasated neutrophils by electron microscopy, to give strenght to the in vitro (mobilization and its inhibitory role). (AU)
