(EN) The present invention describes an oleaginous complex extracted from achiote seeds (Bixa Orellana) using supercritical fluid, and the effects thereof on obesity and comorbidities. The oleaginous achiote product obtained using this extraction technique contains the bioactive complex tocotrienol-geranylgeraniol, and also fatty acids, and can be used as an ingredient or end product for controlling obesity and comorbidities in different nutraceutical, dietary and pharmaceutical formulations.
