Gabriela Torres Montanaro

My name is Gabriela Torres, a PhD student at the Department of Parasitology, Institute of Biomedical Sciences, University of São Paulo (USP, Brazil), under the joint supervision by Prof. Ariel Mariano Silber (LaBTryps, USP) and Prof. Marie-France Sagot, Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1 (France). My project intends to develop and validate genome scale metabolic models for Trypanosoma brucei and Trypanosoma cruzi, with the objective of obtaining a descriptive and predictive tool in order to better understand the metabolism of these important parasites.
