FIRST RECORD OF FOUR SPECIES OF STINK BUGS (HEMIPTERA: PENTATOMIDAE) IN THE ATLANTIC FOREST OF SAO PAULO STATE, BRAZIL

Resumo

Pentatomids are highly diverse in the Neotropics, occurring in all biomes. Most of this diversity is distributed in the Atlantic Forest, from which 201 species occur in the state of Sao Paulo. Here we expand this sample by reporting for the first time the following four stink bug species to the state of Sao Paulo: Adoxoplatys gallardoi Kormilev, 1951, Dsyptocephala spinosa Mayr, 1864, Pentatomiana beckerae Grazia \& Barcellos, 2004 and Phoeacia lineaticeps Stal, 1860 (Hemiptera: Pentatomidae). We provide digital images of each species and updated distribution maps. (AU)
