Resumo

For long or submarine transmission lines, the analysis of the model of these lines becomes relevant due to the impact of their dynamic behavior on the control structures used in eg Switching Converters used to connect alternative energy sources to these lines. One of the options for this model is the association of n modules of pi- impedance, where according to line characteristics and number of modules it is possible to establish the maximum frequency up to which the model represents the line well. Fractional order controllers stand out due to the possibility of meeting a larger number of specifications due to the increase in the number of design parameters and, in addition, they have a greater capacity to adapt to unstable plants with resonant frequencies. Thus, this work seeks to optimize a fractional PI. controller so that the line model of an HVDC structure and its resonant frequencies are taken into account and to evaluate the advantages offered by this controller when compared to the classical PI controller.
