Abstract
(EN) The present invention relates to a dry composition comprising a solid thiol precursor and solid sodium nitrite (NaNO2) incorporated in dry, solid hydrophilic polymer matrices for inducing therein a nitrosation reaction of the thiol precursor following the absorption of water from the gastrointestinal environment. The present invention falls within the field of application of medical-pharmaceutical sciences, more specifically of medicinal preparations characterized by special physical forms.
