Resumo

The purpose of the meeting is to promote the area of DNA repair and mutagenesis science in Brazil, especially in São Paulo, by encouraging the interaction between scientists and students covering various aspects of DNA repair, that is sowing the seeds of knowledge in the mechanisms cells maintain the genome stability. Several high quality scientists are invited in order to promote mainly the discussion of top Science. The focus on DNA repair and mutagenesis allow us to promote deep discussions, including unpublished results, in the frontier of knowledge for the subject. This meeting is designed to gather all DNA repair related people to facilitate the exchange of ideas and expertise. The meeting is particularly geared toward students and the development of students among their peer groups. (AU)
