Resumo We investigate theoretically spin-dependent quantum shot noise in spin-polarized currents via non-equilibrium Green functions techniques. The idea is to use the Keldysh version of the formalism to calculate the spectral density of the shot noise in tunneling systems. This powerful framework should allow us to explore a variety of interesting transport regimes (e.g. coherent and incoherent) and their effects on the noise characteristics of the system. We intend to include interaction effects into the problem; electron-electron, electron-phonon and spin-flip interactions. In principle, these can be systematically included to infinity order in the perturbative parameter via suitable approximations for the self-energy [this is just the general philosophy of field-theoretic methods, which also holds in the non-equilibrium Green function approach]. We believe our proposal is the first addressing shot noise in interacting spin-dependent resonant-tunneling systems. (AU) | |
