Ciro Biderman is a Professor in the graduate and undergraduate programs in public administration at Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV); Director of FGV Cidades and associated research at the Center for the Study of the Politics and Economics of the Public Sector (CEPESP/FGV). He got his PhD in economics at FGV/EAESP on 2001 and his postdoc in Urban Economics at DUSP/MIT on 2007. His research interests include urban and regional economics focused on urban public policies at the sub-national level, with particular emphasis on transportation, land policies and its interaction with real estate markets and transport costs. He was the Chief of Staff of São Paulo Transit Company (SPTrans) from 2013 to 2015 and the Chief of Innovation Officer for the Mayor of São Paulo during 2016. (Fonte: Currículo Lattes)
