Resumo

Sensors efficiency relies directly on the involved materials and, in many cases, the combination of two different conjugated polymers can lead to better sensors; due to the increase observed at the photophysics process of energy transfer. In this work, the polymers poly[(9,9-dioctylfluorene)-co-biphenylene] (PFB), poly[(9,9-dioctylfluorene)-co-phenylene] (PFPh) and poly(3-hexylthiophene-co-9,9-dioctyl-2,7-fluorene) (PTPF), were previously synthesized and characterized. Then, two different systems, PFB/PTPF and PFPh/PTPF, were formed in solution using four different solvents in a way to evaluate their influence and determine important parameters that allow us to characterize the systems through Foster's theory. The results has shown that compounds are packaged, evidencing the influence of the solvents used at energy transfer efficiency. Moreover, the systems responded differently to solvents, and for PFB/PTPF system the chloroform proved to be more efficient and for PFPh/PTPF, dichloromethane. (AU)
