Resumo

It is a process to obtain an increase in milk production and / or an increase in the protein content of milk by using a mixture of fatty acids. The process or the supply of the product described herein (rations formulated with a mixture of fatty acids and with suitable levels of metabolizable protein are used) allows a better yield and / or a better quality and / or a better state of health and productivity of mammals The process includes supplementing some specific types of fatty acids with and / or without ruminal protection for ruminants; and generally a diet with a protein / energy ratio higher than the requirements currently indicated by the technique. The process can also include the production, in the animal itself, of the aforementioned compounds (fatty acids) from fats added to the diet and other compounds that modify the environment of the gastrointestinal tract. These supplements include the supply of a fatty acid with a modifying effect on animal metabolism, as well as the supply of inert fatty acids, which, depending on the ruminant conditions, can change their molecular form transforming into fatty acids with a metabolic modifying effect. . Both, the supply of fatty acids with a metabolic effect, such as their production in the digestive tract itself, enables large increases in the content and / or production of milk proteins.
