On subcategories closed under predecessors and the representation dimension

Resumo

Let A be an artin algebra, A and C be full subcategories of the category of finitely generated A-modules consisting of indecomposable modules and closed under predecessors and successors respectively. In this paper we relate, under various hypotheses, the representation dimension of A to those of the left support algebra of A and the right support algebra of C. Our results are then applied to the classes of laura algebras, ada algebras and Nakayama oriented pullbacks. (c) 2014 Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved. (AU)
