| Resumo | |
The early ideas of ubiquitous computing pushed computers into the background scene of the human-technology relation, to make individuals more aware of people in environments enriched with computers. In this commentary, we take a socioenactivist perspective to consider the characterization proposed by Olivier Gapenne et al. We raise three questions related to: (a) the impact of the target authors' characterization for designers; (b) users and utilitarian computing in contrast with living with ubiquitous technology; and (c) the instructing relation versus active learning.
