Resumo

Este projeto tem por objetivos clonar genes potencialmente envolvidos com a patogenicidade e verificar a expressão em sistemas heterólogos como, por exemplo, a E. coli, em seguida, obter em larga escala o produto da expressão para o seu isolamento. A purificação dessas proteínas permitirá análise estrutural das mesmas abrindo perspectivas para o entendimento das funções biológicas dessas proteínas na patogenicidade. (AU)
