The agreement aims at implementing scientific and technological cooperation between researchers of McGill University, Canada, and of the State of São Paulo, through the funding of joint research projects. The purpose is to strengthen scientific collaboration in areas of common interest and to achieve scientific and technological results of international relevance that promote technological innovation and socioeconomic development, on the basis of equality and mutual benefit.
