FAPESP supports scientific and technological research through Scholarships and Research Grants in all areas of knowledge. The scholarships for undergraduate and graduate students are granted through three lines of financing: Regular Line, Special Programs and Research Programs for Technological Innovation. Directing FAPESP resources through these development lines seeks to achieve three specific objectives: support for the advancement of knowledge, support for application oriented research, and developing research infrastructure.
The scholarships in Brazil are awarded after a peer review selection process, in the modalities Educational Scholarships and Research Scholarships. The referential records of these scholarships are assembled at this page of Research Supported by FAPESP.
