The agreement with the University of Miami (UM), United States, aims at implementing scientific cooperation between researchers from the University of Miami and researchers from the State of São Paulo, through the funding of joint research projects.
The goal of this proposal is to summarize the achieved interaction between Hodge theory and Homological Mirror symmetry and introduce new invariants coming from counting non-commutative curves in a given triangulated category. This invariants can be considered as a generalization of classical Gromov Witten invariants. (AU)
The proposal here described aims to synthesize fluorescent silica particles and coat them simultaneously with two distinct peptides using materials directing sequences to dock the functional biomolecules to the NP surface. The first is a RERERE-ending zwitterionic peptide, which will confer colloidal stability while avoiding protein corona formation around the particles. The second one is…
Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) is a debilitating syndrome that affects up to 2% of the general population approximately 100,000 Miami-metro residents. Moreover, a recent study in the City of São Paulo revealed that these estimates could be up to 6.7% in urban areas. Despite growing research, much regarding risk for OCD remains unknown. This application aims to facilitated collaborati…
