Instituto Butantan and Fundação Butantan

FAPESP, the Instituto Butantan, and the Fundação Butantan have established an agreement to support up to eight early-career researchers in leading research groups in the life sciences for a period of five years. The goal is to strengthen research on emerging and infectious diseases, promote scientific excellence, and expand international collaboration by creating opportunities for talented researchers with experience abroad to establish themselves in Brazil.

The Cooperation Agreement was signed on May 23, 2025, and is valid for five years.
