Abstract

The IEE - Institute of Energy and Environment is a Specialized Institute of the University of São Paulo and has its activities based on research, teaching and extension in the ambits of Energy and Environmental Science. It has an interdisciplinary infrastructure of about 30 laboratories dedicated to the areas of electricity, energy, gas and oil and environmental impacts, as well as power generation systems based on photovoltaic and wind power conversion. This entire infrastructure demands maintenance resources, expansion and adequacy to continue the research in progress. The present project of application of resources of Technical Reserve for Costs of Institutional Infrastructure for Research foresees actions of improvement in the reinforcement of the electrical network as in the adequacy of existing laboratories.
