Abstract

The daily ingestion of mineral water is indispensable for mankind. Despite being a very pure drink that is good for health, water can also be contaminated, causing damage to health. There are three ways of water contamination: chemical agents (such as lead and arsenic), physical agents (microplastics, silica or microparticles), and microbiological agents (such as bacteria, viruses and parasites). As pointed out by recent reports of the United Nations (UN), each year there are 842 thousand deaths. Among the main victims are the children. Faced with this, people have invested in alternatives water purification systems, which often have palliative effect, or they buy mineral water in the illusion that they are consuming a good quality product. Given the importance of human consumption of good quality water, the Hyciclool company longs to put into practice the development of a residential water remineralization system. Since it works with an ecologically correct system for water purification through the rational use of solar energy in a hybrid way (technology with international patent application filing WO2017193190 A1) the company will stand out by the production of a ceramic composition capable of recovering the minerals essential to balanced consumption. The company Hyciclool aims to develop a system to do in situ remineralization of a demineralized water. This remineralization system will be developed to be allocated in the place of consumption, and will have a control system on the remineralization, reservoir of consumption and, mainly, the ceramic material capable of remineralizing water with essential minerals for consumption, which will be elaborated by the company as part of the system. The ceramic matrix will be constructed from selected minerals such as calcium, lithium and magnesium, without presenting other unwanted impurities present in drinking water or even in the commercial mineral water. To achieve this goal it is imperative to carry out the remineralization of water by an array allocated residentially, since the intake of good quality water contributes to the health of the individuals. It will also be an affordable and feasible technology also the countryside or where there is no network of treated or drinking water. The only requirement for application of the purification and mineralization system is that the region has sun. Thus, the development of this water remineralization technology coupled with an environmentally friendly solar purification / heating system will positively impact the lives of users and the purified water segment, both for health and for the rational use of natural resources. From the development of this technology, Hyciclool will expand its portfolio of products, offering in addition to the demineralized, purified for reuse and heated water, also mineralized water, adding quality to the system in front of the daily needs of the consumer. Besides that, Hyciclool will no longer be dependent on imports and will stand out against the competition in the market with new solutions in the mineral water sector, and also pioneered the production spot.
