Abstract

Finding a qualified professional to treat a particular pathology / odontological problem is not easy. The choice of the professional indicated by a friend or that meets the agreement can cause delay in treatment, unnecessary expense and questionable final results. In addition, professionals who do not act on their own can not prevent new problems from happening and do not really heal the patient. To solve these problems and still facilitate patient-professional communication and contribute to the improvement of oral health of the population will be developed UbDoctor, an integrated solution of mobile technology and internet service. In the first phase PIPE FAPESP the technological challenge to be overcome will be the development of the minimally viable product (MVP). Some modules and functionalities will be validated by focal group tests, statistical validation of the ability of the algorithm to correctly indicate the severity of the pathology and the urgency of scheduling and also to correctly match the pairs of qualified professionals + available agenda with the patient's problem + temporal availability of the patient. For these validations we will have the collaboration of experts in the field. This innovation is patentable and has high potential for financial return because it has no similar in the market and meets a universal pain. (AU)
