Abstract

With the 2 EMUs projects it will be created a central for surface characterization of electrode materials seeking to evaluate both the morphology and the surface chemistry in electrodes applied to devices such as batteries and supercapacitors. In this project, therefore, it is made the requisition for the XPS K-alpha that will be crucial to follow chemical changes and the oxidation states over the electrodes. This equipment is imperative to the development of this research project, once all the electrodic reactions are dependent upon the surface properties of the employed materials. (AU)
