Abstract

The purpose of this project is the construction of solutions of topological solitons for extended self-dual Skyrme type theories, using numerical methods. The main motivation is the application of such models as low energy effective theories for hadronic and nuclear matter. The visit of Prof. Carlos Naya is important because he is one of the world experts in three dimensional numerical methods for such kind of models. (AU)
