Abstract

This project deals with the request for assistance from FAPESP, Visiting Researcher modality, in order to fund the visit of Professor. Milton S. Torikachvili on a four (4) month scientific mission from December 1, 2019. The mission will be accomplished with the groups of Profs. Antonio J. S. Machado, belonging to EEL-USP and three other (03) researchers from the Institute of Physics - USP: Julio Antonio Larrea Jimenez, Renato F. Jardim and Valentina Martelli.Prof.'s visit Torikachvili, an expert on crystal growth and characterization conduction under extreme conditions of temperature, magnetic field and pressure, as described below, is expected to focus on the Lorena Campus of the University of Sao Paulo, where he will participate in the development of scientific research in the families of topological superconductors of the type (Ni, Zr) Te2 and the like. Further details not only of the scientific motivations of Prof. Torikachvili as well as other activities to be performed are described below. (AU)
