Abstract

In Brazil, companion animals’ market is a fast growth area with many opportunities for companies that offer services like veterinary practices. Companies in this area fail to have good management practices and may have benefits of applying tools of business intelligence. The goal of this project is to evaluate a tool of business intelligence designed to improve veterinary practices performance. First, the information obtention will be standardized. Then information will be checked for errors. The next step will be the creation of dashboards for data visualization and fields for goals. Lastly, users will be trained to take the most from the features and usability will be tested. This way, we hope to have a product that brings a real impact on profits. Thus, this product will be sold in a subscription mode. (AU)
