Abstract

This project builds on my recent study of hydrodynamics using field theory methods in two complementary ways. It makes contact with alternative approaches to hydrodynamics with fluctuations, spin and gauge fields, and it develops a phenomenology of early-time vorticity-driven spin production using electromagnetic observables.
