Abstract
In this project we will investigate two-dimensional exactly solvable models in Statistical Physics. We intend to develop new formulations of the quantum inverse scattering method in order to solve these models from a unified point of view. We will analise the applications of these sistems to describe the statistical properties of the Lorentz lattice gas as well as their relationship to conformal invariant theories. We shall also study more specific problems in this field such as: new solutions for the T - Q's Baxter relation, particle-antiparticle scatterinf via Braid-Monoid algebra and the off-schell Bethe ansatz formulation.
