Abstract

The research project aims at tackeling distinct (and timely) problems within the framework of stochastic thermodynamics. In the first part, we intend to advance in the statistics of entropy production and fluxes at the phase coexistence regimes. In the second part, we shall investigate distinct protocols for optimizing the performance of brownian machines at finite times. In the last part, we intend to analyze/investigate the hyperaccurate currents for markovian systems and their potential applications, such as for the efficiency of thermal machines. (AU)
