Abstract
The aim of the project is to broaden the understanding, modelling, design and use of data science technologies in a world that is continually becoming digital. It involves scientific and innovation advances towards technological solutions for data science for the social good: science based on the informed, conscious, and voluntary participation of thousands of citizens, not necessarily professional scientists, to analyze large volumes of data, share their knowledge, discuss, present the results and take decisions, eventually dedicating their intelligence, their technological resources and time to find results of social use. Specifically, the project intends to generate computational solutions that facilitate the understanding of the debate in discussions on social networks, stimulating critical thinking among its users. The solution intended by the project is a platform composed of a set of computational tools capable of supporting data curation, mining, and visualization of the debate on social networks for social network users, based on modern Argument Mining techniques.
