Abstract

UrbanSea aims to produce native seaweed through precision-integrated multitrophic aquaculture in urban centers. We will use water with nutrients discarded from fish farms to grow seaweed in an organic and sustainable way. Seaweed is an innovative and versatile product. We will focus on the food and cosmetics markets. In addition to promoting the circular bioeconomy and smart cities, we aim to deliver an innovative, diverse, fresh, organic, traceable and safe product. (AU)
