Abstract

This project aims to empirically investigate the dynamics of constitution of a Traditional Agricultural System (TAS) of indigenous peoples of the middle Jequitinhonha River (MG), as well as the impact and risk factors that threaten and transform it. Operating with theoretical discussions of multispecies ethnography and decolonial criticism, the aim is to contribute to the dissemination and consolidation of discussions in Brazilian anthropology in these areas, as well as to position itself in the international debate. It is also intended that this project will allow subsidizing discussions in the field of public policies that act with the maintenance and safeguard of SATs. (AU)
