Abstract

GrowD is a startup specialized in organic products based on diatoms, a group of microalgae. Our first product, EcoShield, is an organic agricultural pesticide made from inert diatomaceous powders and plant extracts with insecticidal properties. The main focus is to protect economically important seeds such as corn, soybeans, coffee, beans, rice, and lentils by forming a protective film around the seeds without altering their shape or size. This film will have the power to protect and treat the seeds during storage. Our proposal is to offer a sustainable and efficient solution, utilizing innovative technology, as compared to conventional pesticides available in the market. (AU)
